Part L2A Compliance

Part L1A Compliance

Prepare a Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) model suitable to undertake an assessment of Part L1A (2013) compliance. Specify targets for the detailed design stage. This includes for the measurement of thermal bridge junction lengths if required.

Part L Regulation 25A Report

Carry out an assessment of suitable high efficiency systems in accordance with the building regulations requirements. Prepare and issue a report.

BREEAM 2014/2018 LZC Report – RIBA Stage 2 (ENE04)

Prepare an on-site or near-site Low or Zero Carbon (LZC) technology feasibility study to help justify the BREEAM ENE04 (3rd Credit).

Heating & Cooling Loads

Produce a thermal model of the building, suitable for calculating heating and cooling loads to assist with plant selection.

Part L2A Compliance

Part L2B Compliance

Static Metric Daylighting

Prepare a model suitable for calculating daylight factors to assist with façade design. Generate and issue a report with recommendations.

Climate Based Daylight Modelling (CBDM)

Perform dynamic daylighting simulations for the occupied rooms. Analyse the simulation results with respect to Daylight Autonomy (DA) and Useful Daylight Index (UDI) performance metrics. Prepare and issue a report.

BREEAM 2014/2018 Energy & Carbon (ENE01) – 1 st Nine Credits

Update SBEM/DSM model to evaluate the number of relevant BREEAM credits that can be achieved under the ENE01 section. Prepare and issue a report.

BREEAM 2018 – Prediction of Operational Energy (ENE01) – 04 credits (TM54)

Conduction performance stage workshop, Update SBEM/DSM model at details design stage, conduct detail design stage workshop to optimize thermal model and update thermal model at as built stage. Prepare and issue a report.

BREEAM 2014/2018 Daylighting – Static Metrics (HEA01)

Create a model of the building suitable for analysis with static daylight performance metrics (daylight factors). Investigate the number of credits that may be achieved under BREEAM HEA01. Prepare and issue a report.

BREEAM 2014/2018 Thermal Comfort – (HEA 04)

Verify that the building has been designed to provide appropriate comfort levels throughout the year (summer and winter), based on current weather data. Use the thermal model to assist the design team in developing the building’s temperature control strategy. Prepare and issue a report.

Part L2A Compliance

Update the thermal model of the building in accordance with ‘As Built’ Information. Reassess compliance with Part L2A (2013) criterion 1.

Part L1A Compliance

Update the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) model in accordance with ‘As Built Information’ Reassess compliance with Part L1A (2013). This includes for the measurement of thermal bridge junction lengths if required.

Energy Performance Certificate

The project will require an ‘As Built’ Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) on completion. Produce the EPC and accompanying recommendation report and lodge onto the landmark register
